ZIRCON PRODUCTS
1. WHAT IS ZIRCON FLOUR
Zircon is a finely ground form of zirconium silicate mineral, commonly known as zircon. This mineral is processed into a powder, creating zircon flour, which finds applications in various industrial and commercial sectors.
Composition: Zircon flour is primarily composed of zirconium silicate (ZrSiO4). It may also contain trace amounts of impurities depending on the source.
Particle Size: Zircon flour is finely milled, resulting in a powder with a specific particle size distribution. The particle size can be tailored for different applications, influencing the material’s properties.
2. PRODUCTION PROCESS OF ZIRCON FLOUR
Zircon Flour is manufactured by milling zircon sand, usually in ball mills, either in the dry state or in a slurry.
